The public parking lots most convenient to DWC are indicated on the map below. Unfortunately, due to the construction project surrounding our home, DWC is no longer able to provide our guests with free parking. Hours and fees associated with the lots on the map are indicated below. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and are grateful for your patience.
Parking Lot (a) - This lot is $6/day ($4 on weekends), and usually closes around 6pm. Parking Lot (b) - This is a City Lot and is $6/day ($4 on weekends). At 3:30pm the attendant leaves, and visitors may park there at no charge, but vehicles will not be attended. Parking Lot (c) - This private lot is $6/day ($4 on weekends), and is attended until 5pm. As with Lot (b), you can park there free of charge after 5pm, but your car will not be attended. Parking Lot (d) - This Joe's parking lot is accessible 24 hours/day, and is $7/day ($4 on weekends). Meters - There are also meters on the streets surrounding the Center, and guests are welcome to utilize those. Meters are free on Sundays. As always, guests visiting the Downtown Women's Center during the evening hours are welcome to request a DWC staff escort to or from their vehicles.
DWC encourages the use of public transportation! We are accessible by dozens of MTA Bus routes, including the 16 and the 316. We are also under one mile from the 7th Street/Metro Center (where the blue line meets the red line). At that station you can take the Montebello 40 or the Metro Bus 16 to 4th and Los Angeles. Please visit www.mta.net to enter your starting address and DWC's address for updated schedules and bus routes.
From CA-110 Northbound (Harbor City) From the CA-110 northbound, Take the 4th Street exit and ramp- exit 22B Take a slight left onto W 4th Street Turn left onto Los Angeles Street Turn left into the parking lot
From CA-110 Southbound (Pasadena) From the CA-110 southbound, Take the 6th Street/4th Street exit toward I-110 S toward Downtown Take the E 4th Street ramp Stay straight to go onto W 4th Street Turn left onto Los Angeles Street Turn left into the parking lot
From US-101 Northbound (Los Angeles) From the US-101 northbound, Take the Alameda Street exit- exit 2B- toward Union Station Stay straight to go onto Arcadia Street Turn left onto Los Angeles Street Turn right into the parking lot
From US-101 Southbound (Hollywood) From the US-101 southbound, Take the Broadway exit- exit 3A Turn right onto N Broadway Turn left onto W 4th Street Turn left onto Los Angeles Street Turn left into the parking lot
From I-5 Northbound (Orange County) From the I-5 northbound, Keep left to take US-101 N toward Los Angeles Take the Alameda Street exit- exit 2B- toward Union Station Stay straight to go onto Arcadia Street Turn left onto Los Angeles Street Turn right into the parking lot
From the I-5 southbound, Merge onto CA-110 S toward Los Angeles Take the 6th Street/4th Street exit toward I-110 S toward Downtown. Take the E 4th Street ramp Stay straight to go onto W 4th Street Turn left onto Los Angeles Street Turn left into the parking lot
From I-10 Westbound (Inland Empire) From I-10 westbound, I-10 W becomes US-101 N Take the Alameda Street exit- exit 2B- toward Union Station Stay straight to go onto Arcadia Street Turn left onto Los Angeles Street Turn right into the parking lot
