Food
If you would like to donate
groceries to the Center’s food bank, you can order at
VONS.com, and the store will deliver the order directly to
us! In fact, the Downtown Women’s Center receives a donation
each time someone clicks on this Vons logo to place a
grocery order. So, if you shop for groceries online –
whether it’s for yourself or for donation to DWC – please
help DWC’s fundraising efforts and
access
VONS by clicking
here.
You can also
continue to drop donations off directly at the Day Center.
The Downtown Women's Center will utilize all canned and
boxed food. However, our policy does not allow us to
distribute dented canned food, or food on which the dates
have expired. Canned food is used for emergency and holiday
distribution in our community, as well as for daily
breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack food preparation at the
Center.
